I uploaded a haul, a haul in which I show you the stuff I bought pre- sale for the summer. They are mostly clothes but there are a couple of pairs of shoes (cause what's a haul without some shoes, you know) and some books!
AGAIN, I'm sorry for all you non-dutch-speaking followers out there. One day your time will come, and I will make an english video, but for now I'm trying to perfect my British accent.
Okay that is a lie, it's just that I'm not 100 procent comfortable with speaking english on camera. So that is that, let's get on into the video! Hope you enjoy it!

If you were wondering about the little scarf, and you are thinking, wow Lauren is such a follower, I actually want to say that I wore a little scarf like that long before everyone else did. So technically I started this trend totally on my own. I know, I know I deserve awards.

Soooooooo, long time no speak. And I'm really sorry, it's not like I have a good excuse or something. I'm just lazy.

But let's just forget about that, and begin with a fresh start. Hi, I'm Lauren. Nice to meet you, I'm good thanks. Oh, the shirt I'm wearing? It's from COS, it has a silk collar so technically it's a shirt men wear at their wedding. I know, that's funny. Bye, it was nice talking to you! See you soon!

 

Oh btw, I'm sorry the quality of the pictures isn't on point. Elien and I weren't prepared for this photoshoot (we like to think we're pro's by calling it that) . But next time I promise, I will take my camera with me!

Just a quick outfitpost to remind all of you, that I'm still among the living and soon you will see A LOT on this blog ! (Like the haul I promised you)
These pictures, Elien ( one of my best friends, with amazing style, so you are going to see her on here in the future) took on a rooftop in the centre of Leuven (a city here in Belgium). You probably could already tell by the way I'm laughing but we had a lot of fun taking these, Maud (same story as Elien) was also there and she took some 'behind-the-scenes' pics, it was super-fun !

When I put on this outfit this morning the only thing I could think of was, "I think it's pretty clear, I ain't no size 2, but I can SHAKE IT SHAKE IT like i'm supposed to do." (except I'm a size 36/38 wich pretty much is a size 2, but It's the idea that counts) I think that's a really good feeling to get from an outfit. 

Also I'm sorry about my 'sad' face, when my sister is making the photos I always think I'm smiling but when I see the photos afterwards it turns out I look like I'm about to cry. So sorry about that.

DAINTY as hell

Oh Oh Oh, I think I'm going to die, because this combo is just to die for. I have been looking for some dainty, silver, minimalistic necklaces for a couple months now, I just never see the right ones. But THESE, omg, I think these are the one, or the two, or ? They are both from COS, (the links + prices will follow!) and I am really really tempted to buy them, it is just a little bit  much for my wallet to buy both of them. Maybe an early christmas present ? Mom ?

NEW NEW NEW COS purse

I'M SO EXCITED TU DU DU DU AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT

After searching for what feels like years I finally found the PERFECT purse. I'm really specific when it comes to purses because I don't like the big bulky ones and I already had the perfect size and shape purse buth it was fake leather, about 2 euro and it was a bit ruined. So you can imagine what my face looked like when I found this leather one at COS in Lisbon... And on top of that it was only 25 euro! I freaked out and 2 seconds later I found myself on the street with a 2 big bags from COS. (oh, you thought this was the only thing I bought, you clearly don't know me yet...) In the pictures above, you can see the perfect-ness of my new purse and with those pictures I'm going to leave you xxx Lau

september THE FIRST

Today it is the first of september, in Belgium that means, the first day of school. In the pictures above you see the outfit I wore for this 'special occasion' - sarcasm.
